[voice] A stormy question
[Hello Luceti, is the nice little ice storm distracting you from post-Valentine's woes? Don't worry, here's a grumpy marine asking questions to painfully reminds you all.]
Seeing as we're all stuck inside -- [Once again, an usually feminine voice from Smoker's journal account.] -- I've got a question for everyone affected by the event.
Are there normally lines you won't cross in relationships that the Malnosso seem to cross for you? Or do they seem to take those into consideration instead? Since they seem to know us pretty well, it begs the question whether they're using our weaknesses, or if it's completely random.
And if anyone needs help out there in the storm, let me know. This weather is good practice.
[ooc: and feel free to threadjump like the dickens. It might be the only time Smoker keeps quieter than not, seeing as he's a girl now.]

JOINT THREAD WITH DON!! [video]
[The camera feed tilts and wobbles as Lupin arranges a proper set up--and drags a turtle onscreen. The thief is grinning, proudly.]
YAY ;3 Tag in whenever Amiticia [video]
[Waves to the turtle uncertainly... seeing as he's still a girl.]
Wheeeee! [video]
XD [video]
Donatello. That's Cap'. Captain Smoker--remember?
A few zoans can run into this problem as well. [Though this is another Smoker is not a zoan expert moment.] Although I'm not sure they become temporary amnesiacs...
Do you have anything like a heat lamp or tanning bed there?
I don't use it in the winter.
What's this about Donatello and Robbie?
[He has an inkling, but it's hard to tell with a lethargic Don and Robert's social quirks...]
Don, why wouldn't you use the heat lamp in winter?
Don~ What's this about you and Robbie?
[video] 1/more than 1
[video]
And Robert is my, um...
[video] it was 3!

He's just discreet enough to not mention that cross-species liaisons are generally looked down upon in his world.
Pardon him as he slips into French:]
Pas compris.

What's... pas compris?
no subject
Sort of, but... [An enlarging gesture.] More than that.
[He glances at the confused Frenchman.] Should I go find him?
no subject
'compris' as in 'I understand.' Add a 'pas' to make that negative--it's actually a shortened form. 'N'est pas.'
Subject pronoun 'je' makes 'je'ne pas compris,' but that's too long. So. 'Pas compris.'
It's French. My native language, though I can speak alot~
And don't worry, Don. He's still here, right? I'll hunt him down unless Cap' here feels like sparing me the effort.

[Clicks teeth on the cigars. OOPS. Hadn't meant to reveal that bit of stalking there. ANYWAY]
You want me to hunt down Robert? [Runs a hand over his feminine face. He can't figure out what's going on.] Well, everything is okay there, right? Don's just in... whatever is close to hibernation mode that is "good." [Uses air quotes.]
no subject
He's in the other room...

And Cap'? You found Maurice's works here? That's almost a surprise--it's been a while since I read them myself! [Yup. He never knew his grandfather. The man wasn't much of a family man.] I'll need to go hunt them down~
Why would you want to know about my grandfather anyway? I'm the Best Thief of the Century! [Barely beating his grandfather, and discounting the things he would never be able to beat his grandfather at.
Outwitting Sherlock Holmes, for one. Setting himself up to run the entire French Government for another.]

Don, are you okay? The not-quite hibernation is good, right?
no subject
[He turns to Lupin again, curiously.] There are books about your grandfather?
no subject
Need an electric blanket?
...and yeah, there are. Like the great Sherlock Holmes' friend Dr. Watson wrote down their adventures, my grandfather, the man I'm named after, would ocassionally regale his friend Maurice with stories.
He was the head of the largest criminal organization in France, but he didn't have too many personal friends, I guess. Regardless of the reason, these stories got published one way or another, and granddad always did like publicity...
It's funny though. Apparently my grandfather's adventures are fiction in some places. That probably means that Sherlock Holmes is also fiction...
I can sympathize a little with Luke and Obi-Wan, thinking about all this.
