Allen is probably distracted robbing Zenigata in card-playing. You have my full attention until you prefer otherwise." He had noticed that she didn't want him distracted by a book.

He'd planned several date things and he hated changing plans. Women were confusing no matter what Tashigi said to the contrary. Tashigi wasn't confusing but probably because he'd been training her for the last 4 years. He ran a hand through his hair. "She must be upset but then why not just tell me?" He kept his voice from showing too much emotion and glanced back at the Ensign. "I'm not leaving."
