No. Plenty of people spend their whole lives on one island.

Admittedly, it's not something I can understand. I wanted out of Loguetown first chance I got and not traveling is like moving backwards in life to me. But if it makes you happy then do it. I've just only seen two other people here not looking to travel or become or a pirate or something stupid.
