New Yurk Stock Exchange [Video Post]

I don't know what to make of this place. It's got moments of dead quiet and then-- [Cut off by a sudden stampede. Bears and bulls go running by and Smoker just dodges out of the way and climbs onto some high rocks and lets the laptop camera take it in. And then there's more of the stampede with men in business suits carrying briefcases and running desperately out of breath chasing the bulls and bears.] This is completely nuts... shit wait for it. [And then they all come running back again in the other direction they originally came from, the businessman running away from the rampaging bulls and bears.]

[Waits for the dust to settle and sighs.] So I guess the bulls are supposed to be on the stock exchange? In exchange for money or bears I don't know. But apparently something happened and it's all gone to hell. And anytime I lasso those men in suits away from their herd they just babble about needing to chase the bears and bulls and "dollar signs." I have no freaking clue what a dollar is supposed to be. Unless they use sand dollars for currency? I guess I could go dig some up to try to bribe one of them for information.

This is ridiculous. If this is supposed to be a punishment Sengoku, you made your goddamn point. Can I have a real assignment? They don't even have a boss to talk to. Tch. Who the hell wears a tux to deal with bulls? Stupid...

[Walks off back to shore and in the background the stampede starts up again.]

Oh Tsuzuki. Happy Birthday. Is the color okay?

[[ooc: reminder to Smoker's crew to check out the MM_SS crew post so you know what islands we're at. And SUPER EXTRA IMPORTANT REMINDER OF THE 7 SINS PLOT!]]

Percy told me that he is a demigod. He said he was the son of a human woman and Poseidon, the god of the ocean in Greek Mythology.

Apparently, his ship here is a shipwreck that he brought up from the ocean floor to be repaired. I don't know about you, but I'd say he's one to keep an eye on.

I'm not sure. Do fish men control ocean currents? I know that Poseidon was capable of a lot more than that. This worries me. If he has his father's power, he could over-power any devil-fruit user on the Grand Line. I think I should see what he can do and what his spirit is like.

The god of the sea, Smoker. According to the research I read on him in my world, he rules over all the oceans as his domain and controls the sea itself. He could make seawater come from nowhere. He could raise tidal waves and conjure whirlpools. He birthed creatures from sea foam.

Don't you see? Percy is half god. He might even have immortality...

Well, he's very much alive, and that's usually because they get killed by something more powerful. I hope he not another Heracles...

Heracles was a demigod as well with the strength of the his father the king of the gods, Zeus, but he lived a very long time because he achieved immortally. There was also the demigod Achilles that was bathed in the river Styx, which made his body impervious to injury accept for his heel which the river didn't touch.

I deal with these beings back home, Smoker. I know how dangerous they can be.

I want to see what his spirit truly is like. Will he desire power or not? He is half human after all. He already showed interest in Gold Roger's treasure. I also want to see, if the times comes, will I be able to rival him?

Nothing. Don't worry about.
