Everyone's sure there's no new people showing up? Because I could swear I keep hearing her trip over things. And yeah, I know... everyone else is hearing things too. But her coffee. No one could duplicate that. So where did it come from?

An STD stands for Sexually Transmitted Disease. [Pinches bridge between eyebrows harder and ears twinge red.] There are some viruses or illnesses you can only get through sex and it gets passed on that way. It's not usually a huge deal with marines, they just get a reputation for it because we travel, so less of them get married and... so on.

And you vow to only have sex with that person; no one else. And if you don't have sex with them, the marriage is considered void. But people have sex before they get married. I guess some people might wait?

Usually for love. It's better for love. But people can confuse love. And hn. There's a saying, "Sex is like air. It's only important if you aren't getting any." Some people have sex and then fall in love. Love is long lasting, maybe even eternal, right? Sex is more like a few seconds of bliss.

Love makes more sense to me..especially since I still don't know exatlly what sex IS.

Hn. All right, maybe not the best example, but it's like hate versus attacking someone. Some people will attack someone even if they don't hate them. Some people can hate someone and still never attack them. But most people are a lot more likely to attack someone they hate and do it a lot. It's like that, but the opposite. Make sense?

All right well, if you love someone you're more likely to have sex with them. But it's not required or automatic either way. Being in love is sort of a state, like happiness. And sex is more an action.
