I need to get out into the wilderness more in general. Been getting stir crazy with nothing to do. But, not the mountains. Changes in air pressure right now...are unpleasant.

Yeah... I still can't use the spirits. Too weird for me. I mean, I have a devil fruit and all, but it's not like I actually made a pact with the devil in the fruit or anything.

I understand. The Grand Line seems to work on a different set of physics sometimes. It's weird for me too, because it's completely counter intuitive. Working too hard at it has the opposite effect.

...still, you are always saying that you should do things to make you stronger. Do you think that trying would help you? You are made of smoke.

[That was actually the chief reason why Lupin didn't ask for Smoker's aid during the Apep debacle. With Saori, a storm god, involved in the mess there was no way for Lupin to be sure that Smoker would be okay.]

Don't be so ready to write off the progress you've made this far. [SMALL NOD. It's like the biggest sign ever that Lupin's actually accomplished something in trying not to go insane with restlessness here. Even if it's in tsun-tsun speak.]
