Seeing as we're all stuck inside -- [Once again, an usually feminine voice from Smoker's journal account.] -- I've got a question for everyone affected by the event.

Are there normally lines you won't cross in relationships that the Malnosso seem to cross for you? Or do they seem to take those into consideration instead? Since they seem to know us pretty well, it begs the question whether they're using our weaknesses, or if it's completely random.

And if anyone needs help out there in the storm, let me know. This weather is good practice.

[ooc: and feel free to threadjump like the dickens. It might be the only time Smoker keeps quieter than not, seeing as he's a girl now.]

Yeah. She drops by here and there. I'm rather surprised she has this much free time on her hands. But, she is a really nice addition to this place. On that note, they also brought in a pigeon. [ Beat. ] He can speak human language, surprisingly.

[A shrug. Smoker's not even surprised, there are talking bears and starfish in his world, rare but they exist. Besides there's Moro here too.]

How big is he?

The size of a pigeon? Like, around thirty centimeters. [ Tenten just side eyes the question mentally. What type of question was that? ]

That's all? Hm.

Where you expecting something larger?

Yes. Some pigeons in my world are much larger than a human.

You know, I'm not even going to question that. [ That is fucking crazy. What weird ass animals exist there?! ]

[So. Very. Many. Weird. Ones. Including an entire island of purely bizarre animals.]

From what I can tell my world is stranger than most, and that's even without accounting for the Grand Line.

Your world sounds strange to me. That says a lot considering how my world is filled with a six foot tall shark-man hybrid that wields a sword that's actually alive. [ Bizarre person-other living thing hybrids can apply for the stranger than most world competition, right? ]

[No. Like... he's legitimately staring at that. That is her idea of the strangest her world has to offer? That is just relatively normal for his world, they're an entire dominant species just like humans, mermaids, or giants. Arlong's crew alone had a good 30 fishman in the East Blue, and there are several fishman pirate crews about the world, and an entire island of eight-foot (or taller) shark-men with swords. The idea of one lone one seems more sad than weird.]

Well, he could clone himself if he pleases. If that's not good enough, then take the hundred thousand naked plant humans that are part Venus fly trap and can transform into anyone but they can't be detected.

[ She notices the stare and realizes that sharkman with swords would be more common in some worlds than others. She quietly decides to change course and go for something a bit more unrealistic and outrageous. A hundred-thousand naked plant men oughta do the trick. ]

Plant humans?

Human-shaped. They're all white with yellowed eyes and have two giant venus fly trap leaves around them. They're fucking strange.

What the fuck? No kidding.

And he could turn them into fishmen??? How?

We're not really sure. He just absorbs part of an energy and is able to take on the properties of whoever he's impersonating to the point that sensors trained in sensing chakra can't tell that he's an impostor.

[ ooc: My apologies for the lateness!!! I was just overwhelmed with an irl task list yesterday! ]

Wait... so if he impersonates, how would he make the plants like him?

I'm not sure. Anyone he touches he just turns into. Apparently he can't use the techniques of the person he's impersonating or fight decently in them, so it's just a diversion tactic.

He doesn't transform into a plant. He's made of plant, but he's also part human. It's odd and something I can't explain well.

Wait so... are they all like that? All the plant humans?

Yep. They're all like that. No difference in composition.

That's definitely weird, even by my world's definitions. So I guess he could make a whole bunch of duplicates of himself.

In my world a crazy scientist was trying to do that with machinery.

We're not sure how he got to make thousands of clones with himself, though, I think he can use a technique to do it. What's odd about it, is, when you defeat a clone they normally disperse. His actually die.

Hm. Tell me more, if you can. [ She is inquisitive about everything. You just don't tease her with just that! ]

That is bizarre.

I don't know that much. [A) it's new for his time period, ask when he's updated and B) it's a little confidential and C) he's not a crazy scientist.] Vegapunk does a lot of strange things with devil fruits and seastone, I suppose it was only natural that he would start working on people. So far as I can tell, he modified a -- someone to start turning them into a robot and then made several weaker copied versions of the robots. They're meant to round up pirates, and he used them in the War of Marineford.

Robots? [ Vegapunk? That definitely is a weird as hell name. ] I'm not sure what Devil fruits and seastone do, but turning people into a robot? [ Stripping them of free will? ] Did they consent to this? [ She definitely sounds a bit horrified, but mostly annoyed. ]

One person, and then he copied the design for them.

Strangely, yes. I will never understand pirates.
