[Hello Luceti, is the nice little ice storm distracting you from post-Valentine's woes? Don't worry, here's a grumpy marine asking questions to painfully reminds you all.]

Seeing as we're all stuck inside -- [Once again, an usually feminine voice from Smoker's journal account.] -- I've got a question for everyone affected by the event.

Are there normally lines you won't cross in relationships that the Malnosso seem to cross for you? Or do they seem to take those into consideration instead? Since they seem to know us pretty well, it begs the question whether they're using our weaknesses, or if it's completely random.

And if anyone needs help out there in the storm, let me know. This weather is good practice.

[ooc: and feel free to threadjump like the dickens. It might be the only time Smoker keeps quieter than not, seeing as he's a girl now.]

About who I make friends with? [Snorts right back.] I certainly will.

I'm not so noble to hang around someone I don't like. People piss me off too much for it. If I didn't get a lot out of this, we wouldn't be friends.

That doesn't mean it would be better for people if I wasn't there.

[Okay that is getting Smoker to go hunt him down to kick his ass. Though if Ikki's Cosmos is well-tuned, he might feel him coming.]

It's better with you here! The only reason I put up with this place sometimes is because you're around! [After having lost Elizabeth, Grell, Labrador, Kirimi, and now Kohaku back to back, sometimes Smoker was amazed he had any friends left, but without Ikki he would have lost a lot of motivation, a straight out rock that kept him going strong.]

If you want to stay alone that's your choice, but depriving someone else because you don't think you're worth it?

Let her make her own choice in how she sees you.

[If there's something a Saint knows how to do is how to take a punch, even when they are apparently distracted. Ikki takes it easily, it doesn't matter how much Smoker punches him after all, he won't change his ideas because he knows better than that.]

I never said I'm not worth it. Just that it would be better for her and anyone else to not bother with me. But at the end you all can do whatever you want, just as I will do the same.

[Watches him quietly. Somehow he doubts that's the case, that Ikki will still find a way to push her away, but he doesn't say so.]

[If only he could. She has him in her hands already. Anyway she only needs to be as stubborn as Smoker it and it should be fine. Ikki doesn't answer or say anything else, instead goes back to play a bit with Hyoga.]
