[She slowly drifts to awareness, feeling slightly heavy. The scent of tobacco lingering in the air. Has she been teleported to Sanji's bed again? She raises a hand to her forehead and stops. Her hand is too big. Her arm moves in a different way, a strange way and there is something...... off. Very off. Her body is not her body. Robin opens her eyes and finds herself in Zoro. ...Or, maybe not, though it certainly looks like Zoro minus the scars. Hmm. Pulling back the blankets she lifts the hem of her boxers and checks. Not Zoro then. Unless he has a very interesting dye job. The boxers themselves are white with a Marine logo on them.]

Interesting.

[Was that her voice? No...no of course not, it was his. Smoker, obviously. Who else? She can't seem to access any of his memories though, pity. Though on the other hand.... She concentrates for a moment and feels the changes, as if she has hands that can feel every square inch of air, sensitive to movement, air pressure, incredible power. Though it takes more effort to reform herself, himself? And when she does she finds she has left the boxers behind and it is another interesting sensation all together.]

Well, then.

[A moment later she is dressed and with practice acquired from a similar event, lights one cigar and then, remembering, the other, as she stares at the mirror and Smoker grimaces back at her.]

[Don't mind Smoker the woman answering the door. It's obviously still Smoker by the forced scowl and cigars at least. However, unlike female!Smoker, she has black hair and she's pretty tall. Blame it on being Nico Robin instead.]

And unfortunately I woke up like this. It's fascinating while at the same time slightly disturbing. Going to the bathroom has especially been... [She pauses] an experience.

[Pinches the bridge to his eyebrows. He's jealous of the marine almost? And horrified. SO HORRIFIED. Okay, he's got this. He's Marco the phoenix, he can handle anything. Even his would-be girlfriend being stuck in the body of one of the creepiest men alive. It could be worse... probably.]

I'll bet. [Points to the cigars.] Are you smoking out of choice? [Not that he has a problem with it, but it adds to the difficulty of remember this is truly Robin.] Ahh... anything I can do to help? [Rubs the back of his neck. This is so weird. But as weird as it is for him, it has to be worse for her.]

The Malnosso are really having a ball this week. That or whatever they were trying for, royally screwed up.

Yeah, yeah I hear this all the time, but wild wolves can still hunt just fine. That's why no one keeps them as pets, they need their space more than a regular dog.

[ Relief washes over his features! except not because Ikki's face is about as expressive as Hyoga's was, not very. ]

Creepy... [Then again Marco can only imagine whoever got switched into his own body would keep winding up with bird things. Hell, he barely controls it himself, and it's worse in spring. Maybe he should thank the Malnosso for that small kindness.]

Ah... This is going to date me as forever old again, but he's actually too young for me to know a lot about. At least too new. You should ask Ace though... White Hunter chases Luffy, right? So I think he had a run-in with Ace at one point. We got some reports about it, but it was... really diluted by the time it reached the New World. And there was the whole Shanks thing going on...

With luck this will be over really quickly, right?

[Small sigh and rubs Robin's temples with spare third and fourth hands, leaving the original two crossed across his chest. Or Robin's chest really.]

Anything is fine. [ it belatedly occurs to him he should introduce himself. And he also realises it'll be kinda strange since the pet is named after him. ] I'm Hyoga by the way.

[ and wolf!Hyoga decides to bark at that and gets his paws all over Hyoga!Ikki thinking his master's calling him. ]

[Oh, look Smoker's smiling. Marco can only line-face. That. Is a weird expression for the marine. SURE he assumes it had to be physically possible, but marines never smile at Marco. Even if they're generally cheerful, they tend to see Marco and have all sorts of not happy expressions. But at least Robin doesn't seem too freaked out, so that's a relief.]

Oh believe me, first opportunity I can get I'm going to grab Law and have him get drunk with me until I can forget this. So you think you can dig up anything interesting like this?

[Smoker sort of arches one of Robin's eyebrows at that. But he offers a single handshake, the other hands having since departed with brief bit of pink flower petals.]

[ he stares at the hand for a second, he may have met people here but he hasn't really bothered to meet anyone personally face to face other than Ikki so his reaction is a bit stunted and awkward, taking the offered hand stiffly. ]

It's been a bit more than a week but I've known Ikki longer. [ even if he seems almost half a stranger to him now. ]

[Nods his head and shakes firmly. As for socially stunted? Smoker doesn't notice. His best friend in Luceti is Ikki after all... :|] Right, back then I was a third my real age. [Stupid Malnosso.]

And yeah, I know a little about you. [Points to Hyoga the wolf pup.] More about Shun for obvious reasons.

[ oh right, yeah that's an obvious reason. But Hyoga's just not sure how much Ikki talks and he's not sure it's his business to ask...so in the end he nods a bit at that. ]

What do you mean on third your real age? [ asking about the weirdness of this place seems safe enough a topic and something he should try to find out about. He won't pry into Ikki's privacy no matter how tempting it might be. ]

[They actually don't talk that much. Smoker and Ikki can go weeks without saying much of anything, and like it that way. But they talk here and there and a little more now that Ikki is (basically, however much he denies it) dating Kotomi. Still, it's been nearly over a year that they've been roommates and close friends, a few conversations happened.]

A couple days before I got switched into another person's body I was 12 for a week. And kidnapped for a week before that. They do that sometimes. Kidnap people and then put a shift on them when they return. But I guess they decided kidnapping takes too long and just shifted everyone in the village this time.

[ Hyoga frowns (it looks harsher on Ikki's face than it would on his own probably) he's heard of the kidnappings but meeting someone that's been subjected to them makes them more real and it leaves a bad taste. He's been calm about being placed here and it's true that he still thinks that it doesn't matter too much where he is. But other people being subjected to random cruelty and injustice is something that he'll never be able to just swallow. ]

And people have been subjected to these things for years here?
