[lmao I cheated and said that Smoker was purposely making it vague so that pirates couldn't use his knowledge for evil B) Plus it was just to give Ikki perspective where Alabasta is in relation to Loguetown, Marineford, and the New World. Which are luckily easier to map? Although the harder part was just trying to guess for all the islands Smoker knows but that the Straw Hats never visited since they started off only visiting one out of 7 of the island "options"/routes. Bluh. And I didn't even bother trying to add in the sky islands. That'd be a nightmare. /TL;DRs about the TL;DRs.]
Mm. Ours came about to prevent such fighting and it's too big for the countries to have even banded together to fight. But from my studies of Europe and "Earth" history I think when the countries are more land-locked or of closer to equal size, it seems there isn't a big enough gap for a world government to start rising to power and take over. So the wars and fighting continue. [You can tell Europe, Earth, and land-locked are still pretty unfamiliar words for him, to the point he's almost unsure he's even using them right, but he's giving it his best and continuing on in his gruff manner.]
[And he waves off the returned politeness and bow. Niceties, man he sucks at them after a really quick point.]
I think I get it. The Kages are part King, Mayor, and Fleet Admiral all at once. But the rest is more democratic in nature? Or rather... how are the Daimyo decided? By bloodline? [Making them like the tenryuubito? Only more overridden and ignored.]
Good to hear. There are a few countries that do such crazy things like that in my world too, so long as they don't take it international, the world government practically lets the individual countries and their rulers do whatever they want inside their borders.
The best herd EVER! \o/ and fff yeah, THIS POST MAN
