[The video hangs from a bird's eye view literally, swaying up high in the wind and zooms in slightly on two shadowy figures. A grey-haired kid is leaning over a woman and from behind you can't tell who it is. There's brightly colored balls around them and it's fairly bouncy. Grey-haired man leans in and kisses the woman, the black wispy dress sticking out sort of triangular around the legs. The camera angle zooms away into the sky and the video cuts out.]

...I'm afraid I'd have to agree with Lavi, Smoker. I know that... it's not the best of situations, and I sort of don't want him to go with the General either if he does show up, but...

You have to understand. Allen... Allen has a duty higher than that of an Exorcist. He's... the Destroyer of Time. He's the one that's supposed to end this war, though... it's... not exactly sure for which side he's going to end it...

So I'm just supposed to abandon him to whatever fate supposedly has in store him? I don't believe in destiny. I believe in justice. And letting him get hurt just so he'll get stronger from it.... What if he dies here Miranda? Then it wouldn't even matter. I can't just...

I'm not trying to interfere. But I can't stand by and make him face something he shouldn't have to. It's not justice. He trusts Cross and from everything I'm hearing the man doesn't deserve it. If he runs off I have little doubts he'll wind up in piracy and...

Smoker. He is not going to die. There have been... so many instances in which he was supposed to die. And he doesn't. Something or someone protects him. And he's not the only one. Rinali was supposed to die too. And she was saved. Lavi too. Even me. There's... we won't be allowed to die. We need to accomplish something before that happens, though I'm not sure what.

I have more faith in Allen than that. He will not turn into a pirate. For God's sake he's a Noah! He's supposed to be on the enemy's side, but he's not. His sense of justice keeps him doing the right thing. You surely do not need to worry about him.

Smoker, that we know of, General Cross isn't even here. And if he isn't, he may never show up.

He doesn't have to go. There's a chance he might not. The bottom line is it's Allen's decision who he stays with. If this Allen is anything like the one back home, I don't think he'll go back with the General.

I never intended to force Allen to stay Miranda. I simply don't wish to allow him to be forced or manipulated if I can stop it either. I never meant to take his real choice away, just give him the other option as well. Normally.... I would stand aside. I would tell him to go. So that I would even ask him to stay in spite of that... It's disconcerting.

Believe me when I say he will not be forced or manipulated into anything. The Order already tried that, and he perservered.

You care about him. It's understandable. I feel the same way you do; caring but not wanting to care too much but it can't be helped.

Hn. Caring about someone it just happens. You can't stop it and it's a good thing. It makes us human no matter how far we travel or what we do or what we're capable of.

Nothing around here is worth the time. There's no danger and barely little point. Just better than nothing. It's the Grand Line I should be able to scrounge up something.
