Christmas Party on the Lady Justice

Smoker's marines "traditionally" have a Christmas party actual day/night of. Anyone on Lady Justice on Christmas Eve wakes up to it completely decorated in all things Christmasy, there's presents all over the place (gradually less as the day wears on) food, drinks, hot cocoa, all things festive. This year they're also throwing a surprise birthday party for Allen (blame Miranda) and between that, Smoker, Tashigi, and possibly other marines are going to be too busy to notice a couple of pirates running around (unless you poke them. Then all bets off.) SO FEEL FREE TO JOIN IN AND CRASH OR SHOW UP OR ANYTHING YOU WANT!!

They're stationed at Retwin Island to keep things peaceful during the tourist season and there's all kinds of super Christmasy/holiday things along the way. And some dreidels left over from Hanukkah in case anyone feels like playing. So eat, drink, be merry, get in trouble, go all out! Just have fun!

Having been 'warned' of the mistletoe tradition, he eyes the sprig dangling from the ceiling warily, when he would have otherwise carelessly passed beneath it.

Staring up at the familiar plant, Lithuania chuckled uneasily as he debated with himself whether to quickly make his way past it or take a longer route around. Of course...he always had terrible luck when it came to the tricky tradition.

She hasn't even noticed the decoration at all. She was wandering around the ship, looking at everything there was to see, and then she bumped into something...someone. "O-oh! Sorry, sorry, excuse m-..." It was Lithuania.

Staring up at the mistletoe from a very unsafe distance away, the bump was just enough for him to take a step forward into the red zone. Damn it, just his luck. He sighed silently before turning around but seemed to freeze in place for a moment like a deer caught in the headlights. "T-Taiwan...? Errr...h-hello!" Well, this was a much better improvement.

"Lithuania!" She greeted him happily, with a huge smile. "I didn't mean to bump into you..." She tilted her head to look at him, confused. "Ah...is something wrong...?"

"It's fine, really..." he said quietly while trying not to look up hopefully at the mistletoe. "Nothing's wrong...it's just- ummm..." His mind went a little blank as he shifted his gaze from her to the floor; he just couldn't bring it to her attention.

Well, how was she supposed to move now? She glanced up at the sprig of greenery hanging there. "Oh! What is that...?"

Lithuania glanced up at Taiwan again and froze a little more as he noticed she was looking up. "Oh! That- errr...it's mistletoe..."

"Oh!" She hasn't noticed Lithuania's discomfiture. "It's a plant?"

"...Yes, it is," Lithuania says as he takes note of Taiwan's lack of reaction. "D-do you know the tradition behind it, Taiwan?"

Peeking up at the mistletoe, Rinali kept a safe distance from it with a small hesitance to go anywhere near.

"Mm...I hope it's not like the ones on our ship."

"Stay away from the mistletoe, Rinali!" Komui was standing directly under it, gigantic drill in hand. He was ready to defend his sister's purity to the death... Unless it was Leo. He promised to leave the boy alone. Darn

"You're not so safe yourself, Komui." Guess who just slunk up behind the Supervisor, sliding an arm around his shoulders and getting in his personal space.

"You might not want to stand right underneath it~" Looks like he's already gotten into the alcohol, as well.

About to say something to Komui, Rinali stopped midthought to stare at the general.

"G-General?!" She beamed. Komui's protectiveness was more- out in the open, but she could be just as protective of her big brother. "U-Unhand him!"

Komui, slippery devil he was, easily manuvears out of Cross's grip. He could smell the wine on the redhead's breath, and would rather not get involved in that, thanks. Nonetheless, the Supervisor smiles slyly at the General. "Though it's not safe for me, it might be a good idea for you to stay here" A silly little head tilt and ~ "You never know what pretty woman might walk by!"

As if on reflex, he steps beside Rinali, wrapping a protective arm around her shoulders. Nope. His sister did NOT qualify as a woman, Cross.

Cross just shrugged, almost disappointed, and stepped away from the mistletoe, now that there wasn't much of a reason to be there. "No thanks, I'm not sure I want to take the risk. I'd rather wait for someone pretty to stand under it."

But he's not going to let you escape so easily. "Just like either one of you," he added with a grin.

Komui smiles back, though it's easy to tell he doesn't mean it. He can feel his fingers tightening oh so gently on the trigger of his big drill, but not hard enough to actually get the instrument to work. He definately doesn't like that Cross is hitting on Rinali, or him but Rinali was of more concern, so he pats his sister gently on the shoulder, protectively.

"While I'm sure that the both of us are flattered by your comment, Rinali does have a boyfriend to remain faithful to, so she has to turn down your request" A slight turn of his curly head to his sister and-- Smile ~ "Right?"

Rather oblivious still to any flirtations, Rinali always being in a sort of naive sense of mind, the Exorcist blinked when Cross called her brother pretty. Completely missing that he called her such...

She looked down at her shoulder where her brother protectively gripped and rubbed one of her blushing cheeks with a small smile. "Y-Yes. I wouldn't want to make Leo sad or angry." She said truthfully.

Cross paused for a moment, considering. "Well, I guess if Lenalee's taken, I can just focus on you."

Even when half-drunk, it's surprising how fast he can move in an instant, right up next to the Supervisor again, that grin back in all it's glory.

Roxas peered directly up at the green thing that was hanging from the ceiling. Why would anyone stick plants to the ceiling?
