Christmas Party on the Lady Justice

Smoker's marines "traditionally" have a Christmas party actual day/night of. Anyone on Lady Justice on Christmas Eve wakes up to it completely decorated in all things Christmasy, there's presents all over the place (gradually less as the day wears on) food, drinks, hot cocoa, all things festive. This year they're also throwing a surprise birthday party for Allen (blame Miranda) and between that, Smoker, Tashigi, and possibly other marines are going to be too busy to notice a couple of pirates running around (unless you poke them. Then all bets off.) SO FEEL FREE TO JOIN IN AND CRASH OR SHOW UP OR ANYTHING YOU WANT!!

They're stationed at Retwin Island to keep things peaceful during the tourist season and there's all kinds of super Christmasy/holiday things along the way. And some dreidels left over from Hanukkah in case anyone feels like playing. So eat, drink, be merry, get in trouble, go all out! Just have fun!

Steps up to Main Deck

A lot of you will just already be there but for anyone who wants to make an entrance, here's the plank/stairs leading up to (or down if you feel like it) the Lady Justice or down to the docks.

It's been a while since she's been here. Clad in her regular black garb, the Exorcist tenatively looks up the stairs, Allen's present wrapped and under one arm.

Christmas Trees

There's at least 14 scattered around the ship. The biggest is on deck but the most decorated and most often used is situated at the center of the party (with a bunch of presents still under it). On the island there's about a mile of decorated trees and then a huge one in the center of town. If you feel like walking and viewing.

They may or may not be suspiciously missing candy canes from Yachiru.

Allen gingerly places the bigger few presents under the tree on deck, deciding to hold the smallish ones with him and pass them to their would-be receivers personally.

Allen only asked for Mitarashi Dango for Christmas/birthday so he got it by the tableful. Literally. Feel free to try to get some before he eats it all, they made enough to feed an army (still not sure that will be enough...)

There is also other traditional Christmas foods. Cookies, candy, grapefruit, oranges, walnuts (complete with nutcrackers of course), chestnuts, cinnamon rolls, seriously if you can think of it for Christmas they probably have it. And then some.

Also eggnog which is probably VERY VERY spiked. :|

Unsurprisingly, the inquisitive little creature has once again found his way out of Goemon's quarters and has took it upon himself to investigate the commotion. But he was almost immediately lead astray by the mingling scents of wonderful foods, left googly-eyed when he came across long tables lined with dozens of plates. A glazed roast, mashed potatoes, sumptuous sweets...

Clasping his hands in childish delight, Yoshi first attacked a plate of oranges without peeling the rind.

Main Deck (at night)

It's cold but pretty. There are some real icicles hanging about (Smoker let them stay for now, they get to live until New Year's). Tashigi has opted to setting off SURPRISE fireworks. Yes, Smoker is worried she'll burn the deck down too. This is a good place for stargazing or looking at the city lights or the ocean.

Music/dancing

In general you can hear carols just about anywhere on the ship but there's probably like a marine band (trumpet, bugle, piano, whatever) somewhere being festive.

And playing the classics. ;)

Mistletoe

Having been 'warned' of the mistletoe tradition, he eyes the sprig dangling from the ceiling warily, when he would have otherwise carelessly passed beneath it.
