Christmas Party on the Lady Justice

Smoker's marines "traditionally" have a Christmas party actual day/night of. Anyone on Lady Justice on Christmas Eve wakes up to it completely decorated in all things Christmasy, there's presents all over the place (gradually less as the day wears on) food, drinks, hot cocoa, all things festive. This year they're also throwing a surprise birthday party for Allen (blame Miranda) and between that, Smoker, Tashigi, and possibly other marines are going to be too busy to notice a couple of pirates running around (unless you poke them. Then all bets off.) SO FEEL FREE TO JOIN IN AND CRASH OR SHOW UP OR ANYTHING YOU WANT!!

They're stationed at Retwin Island to keep things peaceful during the tourist season and there's all kinds of super Christmasy/holiday things along the way. And some dreidels left over from Hanukkah in case anyone feels like playing. So eat, drink, be merry, get in trouble, go all out! Just have fun!

Her lips curl into a bigger smile and she offers him a hand, grinning wildly, brushing her hand through some stray blue locks. "I'm glad you liked the gift I got you," she paused. "It means a lot to me."

Allen almost flushed red. Turning back halfway, with only his profile shown to Tashigi as he scanned for HER gift he'd put there only recently, he retorted with a soft smile, "Putting gifts under the tree."

Then, at her enthusiasm, his smile widens too and he shakes her hand with a firm, friendly clasp.

Feeling more daring than usual, he teased, "Then I like it very much."

The female just grinned more, retracting her hand after a bit. Her own cheeks flushing slightly. "That's good, Allen-san. That's all I can hope for."

Her brows lifted before she looked down at the piles of gifts gathered under the tree. "I think, a Happy Birthday is in order," she muttered quietly, patting Allen on the head lightly. Her cheeks flushing red as she leaned down and placed a friendly kiss to the male's forehead. "Happy Birthday Allen-san, I erm... know you didn't want anything for your birthday, but..." The female was bending at the knees to kneel down and take out a far off placed birthday-gift-wrapped box. "It's not much, and erm... Smoker-san gave it to me when I was a new recruit under him, if I got in trouble or something, but. Enjoy."

Allen's eyes widened as she wished him a Happy Birthday and patted him. He hadn't... Been physically touched for quite a while, with everyone either calling him two extremes: a kid or a grown-up. Then he really did go slightly pink when she kissed him on his forehead. It felt... Made him wonder if this was like Family.

He accepted the second gift from her, though not without a few protests of "special to you" and "don't need two presents".

Then Allen stood there for a moment, feeling slightly awkward with nothing to say anymore. Then he thought of something, and kneeled down for a third time, gently rummaging through the gifts he had just set down, and finding Tashigi's one.
