[With a smile, Grell steps to the side, around the tree and...just disappears. Because death gods do not play fair.]

[Holy cow. Excuse him while he remains dumbfounded for a bit and tries to make sure he's not hallucinating. Maybe he was so drunk he smoked something weird. Or something. Eventually though he's going to get to hunting. In an elaborate, grown-up version of hide-and-go-seek. And really as ~~pathetic~~ bizarre as that sounds.]

[Grell is hanging out in a tree nearby, just watching Smoker's progress, but if he gets close, she'll jump to a different one.]

[He doesn't have a keep sense of smell, but his ears are virtually canine. Like he said, they're insanely sensitive. So first his listens for anything in case it was just a ninja smokescreen trick. Then he's walking cautiously and keeping his ears on high alert, occasionally stopping to hear better.]

[How cute. Grell leans back against the tree she's in, crossing her legs as she watches.]

[Walks in a circle ready to start going back to the village, but looks up in the trees, kind of squinting, since that's where she was before.]

[This is such fun. When she sees him look up, somewhere in the vicinity of where she's hiding, Grell grows still and narrows her eyes, her smile widening. Let's see if he can tell.]

Red clashes with green and brown sexy. You should consider something darker if you want to hide in a forest.

[Oh and he is such a smug bastard right now. And totally halfway bluffing. But with the smug arrogance, and cop skills where he does this to criminals all the time, it really might not show.]

[Does he know? Grell is used to watching silently, not moving when people look for him. A predator, even if spotted, won't move in hopes that the prey will think it was just their imagination. She's been a predator for so long that even when he talks to her, she doesn't move.

But she is amused.

Time to see if he'll try to hit the mark or if he's merely bluffing.]

Hmph. [Mumbles softly, huffing on cigars and then tries to climb up a tree to look. Of course he's still hammered so this mostly looks like Winnie the Pooh trying to climb a tree. He's had more adept days man.]

I see you~ [Maybe he should just surprise her with smoke arms, but that would usually freak chicks out. Ah the problems with being a smoke monster.]

[LMAO that is...so awkward looking. Grell watches him climb the tree, waits until he's about halfway up, then stands and waves to him.]

[With a wave, she jumps out, hitting the ground briefly only to leap up into another tree, laughing slightly.]

[Totally just switches an arm into a white snake to grab around her waist, and apologetically smirks.]

Only because you cheated first. Planning to teleport away again?

[Holy crap is that...smoke? Holding her? WHAT THE HELL. She starts to struggle and then looks at Smoker, quite put out.]

It isn't teleportation for your information.

[Doesn't immediately let go though.]

[Since she can't get free, she stops fighting it and leans an elbow onto the smoke.]

I simply move faster than most people can perceive.

Sounds exhausting. [Lets the smoke go back into a human arm around Grell's waist when the redhead gets close enough.]
