[She slowly drifts to awareness, feeling slightly heavy. The scent of tobacco lingering in the air. Has she been teleported to Sanji's bed again? She raises a hand to her forehead and stops. Her hand is too big. Her arm moves in a different way, a strange way and there is something...... off. Very off. Her body is not her body. Robin opens her eyes and finds herself in Zoro. ...Or, maybe not, though it certainly looks like Zoro minus the scars. Hmm. Pulling back the blankets she lifts the hem of her boxers and checks. Not Zoro then. Unless he has a very interesting dye job. The boxers themselves are white with a Marine logo on them.]

Interesting.

[Was that her voice? No...no of course not, it was his. Smoker, obviously. Who else? She can't seem to access any of his memories though, pity. Though on the other hand.... She concentrates for a moment and feels the changes, as if she has hands that can feel every square inch of air, sensitive to movement, air pressure, incredible power. Though it takes more effort to reform herself, himself? And when she does she finds she has left the boxers behind and it is another interesting sensation all together.]

Well, then.

[A moment later she is dressed and with practice acquired from a similar event, lights one cigar and then, remembering, the other, as she stares at the mirror and Smoker grimaces back at her.]

It's a long story. And that's why I said he's more of a friend. Every time you try to get rid of him he finds you, or another friend. Smart dog.

[Yeah, you know what? There's a screaming child now, pointing at the third hand as if it's some monster... Which it is. Where you saying something? Because he can't hear you over getting traumatized.]

[Instantly lets it disappear in a flutter of pink flower petals.]

[Ikki stops screaming but... Staring.]

Nico Robin, that's who this body belongs to, hers is sort of... "blossoming" her body like flower parts. Multiple of anything. It takes some getting used to. Hopefully she's not floating around as a cloud or something ridiculous.

[Right, because any of that makes sense. Ikki just stares a bit more, before he shakes his head and files it into "whatever".]

Has an exit be found yet? I've to return with Shun.

Not yet. For now, don't worry about it, you'll get back to him soon enough.

I'm going out, maybe I'll stumble over the exit if I wander around. People here still vanish randomly, right?

They do. [Frowns, he's not big on Ikki just disappearing.]

Then maybe it's as I thought and there's an exit but it changes places constantly and sucks anyone who finds it so they can't tell anyone else! I'll go out and check. If I don't find it by night can I come and sleep here?

[Well, it's a plan, isn't it?]

Baby food so Shun could have a proper meal. I haven't been able to give him much the last days and the last time I got enough milk for that it was soy milk and he got sick because he couldn't keep it in his stomach.

[So he has no idea what he wants for himself. Sorry.]

[Smoker is just trying to figure out foods that aren't an acquired taste. He really doesn't have the heart to point out to chibi Ikki that Shun's not here and he can't exactly take the baby food back with him...]

Steak and potatoes it is.

[Ikki's a child but he's not an idiot, no answer about the baby food issue pretty much tells him that. And he knows already that Shun isn't here, unfortunately.]

... I'm going to try to find the exit then.

[And sulk about how he fails as an older brother for ending here twice when his brother needs him and being unable to properly feed him.]

Ikki, time really doesn't pass back home while you're here. I got back home once, and wound up here all the same.

Don't drive yourself crazy with it, okay?

... I know but... I'm all Shun has in the world. Even if time doesn't pass I can't just sit here and be calm about it if he's not here!

[A feeling that doesn't change with the years, even if he learns to cover it.]

Shun is just a baby but he's a really good kid, he's always smiling and is very sweet. What kind of older brother would I be if I just enjoyed myself while he can't do the same? He deserves it more. And I promised to always take care of him and not let him suffer even for a second. So... I'm going to try to find the exit and return with him right away, no matter what!

[Sorry Smoker, he doesn't know how to not drive himself crazy over this.]

[A small sigh. How can he get through to him? He was reminding Smoker of Ace when he was younger. So determined to get home and make sure Luffy completed his dream.]

I'm not saying sit and enjoy yourself. I'm saying at least tackle the problem intelligently. You're the smartest kid I know. [Other than Kotomi-chan, but he thinks of her as young adult.] So use it. There is such a thing as determination and finding a way just through trying, but if you want to give yourself the best chance of success, stack the odds in your favor.

That's why I'm going out! There is a way out and it happens randomly! People don't vanish in thin air, they must be finding the exit, maybe it's a portal or a magic hole or whatever but it changes places and moves randomly! Besides, maybe Shun has been brought here but no one knows yet, he's a baby, he can't even say his name yet! If going out and try to find it isn't a good option what's your idea?

[Taps the journal.] Check this first. If finding the exit is like winning the lottery, then you can at least find out where it isn't.
