My name is Smoker and I'm still offering a variety of self defense classes outside the barracks daily, rain or shine. Jitte, kickboxing, it doesn't matter if you have no experience, if you want to learn you can stop by. Just because you're stuck here doesn't mean you can't keep getting stronger.

It's a type of martial arts. Focused on straight forward boxing and kicking. It's the fighting style I most employ. That and jitte. [And devil fruit, but he saves that for backup mostly.]

I do prefer it to the alternative. The people here are incredibly helpful, but I expect that only takes one so far unless they can adapt somewhat.

Pretty much. I don't think I've met anyone who couldn't find anyway at all to adapt however. Most people come from some pretty bizarre circumstances to begin with.

I've taken some notice of that myself. It must be refreshing to have unusual circumstances serve one well instead of taking the opposite direction.
