My name is Smoker and I'm still offering a variety of self defense classes outside the barracks daily, rain or shine. Jitte, kickboxing, it doesn't matter if you have no experience, if you want to learn you can stop by. Just because you're stuck here doesn't mean you can't keep getting stronger.

You certainly can learn if you'd like. It's a type of defense using a blunt weapon with a tine, meant to block or defend against swords and to catch criminals with minimal permanent danger. And I find it fun.

[As for defensive, that's okay, Smoker's fighting style is very defensive and jitte is all about defensive. Smoker still uses it to smack pirates, but when he teaches it, it's about fending off weapons and getting others to back down.]
