Fall rains always seem so cleansing even on filthy streets of pirate ports like Loguetown or Shambun. Still a pain in the ass to keep cigars lit in.

I'll be out all day. I've narrowed down most of the possible places for the pirates to be so now it's just a matter of smoking them out. Tashigi is in charge of getting the brig ready for any more prisoners but Rinali I expect you and Lady to do your part and help. Fiyero, you too. Job to do people, do it.

There's a baseball diamond on the island but I still can't find the time to see it. I suppose it doesn't matter in this rain as it is. Almost makes me miss Loguetown except never that.

What does this have to do with kickball again?

Okay in baseball the pitcher throws the ball to the hitter and the hitter tries to hit the ball with a bat. If he gets a hit he has to run to the first base before people catch the ball and tag the runner with it. 3 bases and home plate, you usually just have enough time for one base and the hitters go, the runners try to get the next bases.

In kickball you have all that with one team hitting and running the bases and the other team trying to tag them out but instead the pitcher rolls a ball and you have to kick it. It can still get thrown though. Like dodgeball you can tag people out and it usually uses the same kind of big red ball.

Kind of. And baseball has a ball about the size of a palm. Kickball has a ball the size of a head.

Just like it sounds. You dodge balls and throw them at people. If you get hit you're out.

It's raining right now but I won't be back to the ship for a while and Tashigi isn't exactly the right person to run that game. Depends on how long the weather lasts I guess.

Good to know. If you want to set it up now you can go scope out the area and try to lead it yourself if you feel inclined.

Yes. Round up interested parties; make sure you get Allen and Yachiru and a few of the others and take them out to the baseball diamond. I'm not really sure we have red balls on hand, check the equipment in the hold or have an officer do it.

Have fun. If you want to try baseball, Tashigi already knows how and most of the older crew members do as well. The bats gloves and balls are in the equipment closets. That much I know.
