I'm using the den den mushis to secure a place to get repairs done but it looks like we'll need to stop by Water 7 as soon as possible. We're sailing at 1/3rd of the speed.

Allen, flu or not, see what you can do about helping to deal with the harpoons in the side of the ship. You'd almost think we were dealing with Hina's ship.

Eh, let me be blunt. You got promoted sometime after Luffy defeated Crocodile, and the newspapers were singing your praises for bringing down a rogue Shichibukai. The situation reeks, Commodore.

And you think I wanted that?! I let you free in Alabasta to go help the princess however you chose while I went to get proof so that the government couldn't fucking keep pretending Crocodile was their loyal little lapdog. I told them to take their promotion and shove it. And they learned NOTHING from it. Kept right on insisting the others were in control. "Helping." Bullshit. Blackbeard, Boa Hancock, NONE of them are loyal to the government or following orders. It's all just fucking politics.

I've earned plenty of promotions and you must have fought higher ranked officers by now. You think they're as strong as me? I prefer captain so I don't have to deal with as much of their idiotic orders. The ONLY reason I lost your trail for a while was because they forced me to get promoted no matter how MUCH I refused. But I did refuse it, no matter what you think.

Shichibukai are pirate scum without the decency to even own up to admitting that's what they are. They parade around as heroes reaping whatever they can, pretending to play lackey to the government all the while doing whatever they can for themselves, same as almost any other pirate would.

I'm not a pirate. I don't kidnap and torture enemies and leave them toothless and lacking fingerprints on people's doorsteps so that they're nearly impossible to identify. I serve justice. Nothing more, nothing less.

That shit's hardly exclusive to pirates or the government, Hunter, and you definitely know that. You follow justice if you want, what do I care. I don't see where that leads you to chasing Luffy, though.
