There've been a specific set of disappearances lately. Different from usual Grand Line fare.

It's been happening primarily on islands which makes it different from piracy, but it's spanning several countries. If this is related to your heartless, let me know.

Most disappearances can be chalked into 5 categories: murders, piracy, "natural" world phenomenon (storms, seakings, Grand Line acting up as usual and illnesses), wars, and runaways who turn up later. This... isn't. Or it wouldn't be called to my attention.

Not exactly. I can't make a connection anywhere. It's not really my case file to begin with, right now it's no one's. The marines are all too busy dealing the things we know we can put down as murders, piracy, and war.

Because the various countries don't know what to do about it. It spans internationally so they're not equipped to deal with it and the World Government, as I said, is overloaded. If there is a connection, one has to be found before any work can be made towards ending it.
