Well... Muraki told me that I wasn't human... and that my eyes were demonic... Hisoka and I went to a bar... and I got drunk... ran out the door... and tried to stab my eyes out...

That's what people always used to say to me... My eyes were demon eyes... just because purple isn't a human color...

First off the only real demons I've seen on the Grand Line are humans. Secondly, blue and golden yellow eyes didn't start off as human but now they're almost commonplace. Human genetics morphs itself with time and creates new variations on old themes. It's how any species survives evolution. They continue getting stronger in order to keep up with the rest. Maybe purple eyes hasn't given you any advantage yet, but that seems to be because of the people you've known, not your eyes themselves.

Yes, so? Tsuzuki, people who are born to pirate parents don't necessarily become pirates. Make the choices you can and don't beat yourself up for the rest. You didn't ask to be born with purple eyes. Things like that we can't control anymore than people with crushed leg can walk just by wanting to.

This is true... Enma-Daioh used to say I was human by choice... Hisoka said that too... It's hard to remember that when so many people would rub it in my face that I wasn't though...
