Right, this is Smoker. I'm back in my own body, thanks to everyone who helped when I was a kid, and you know... during the shift.

Jitte and kickboxing lessons will be delayed until the 10th, but that doesn't mean stop practicing. Keep up the exercises, because I'll be very disappointed if any of you start slipping.

For anyone else interested in joining in, I teach basic self defense, kickboxing, and jitte. There are one-on-one sessions and group sessions, feel free to ask about a schedule because with the drafts ongoing, at least you can learn something to get a fighting chance for survival.

And who still here in the village knows anything about motorcycles? A friend recently reminded me life can be too short not to pursue some things.

Lupin, if you still remember the thing I asked Red about, I'd like to discuss it.

Yep. That's the one. I found a film version here with James Cagney, Mickey Rooney, and Olivia de Haviland from '35. These black and white films have some of the best acting in them, and it won't be too jarring visually. They used real sets in those days.

Now all we need to do is rig up the screen and projector, and wait for a good night.

Just pick out a nice location, and arrange a nice dinner for her. Go for something Spanish or Italian, if you want a tip. It'll be tasty, but not too heavy or rich.

That's right--sorry about that. Italian food is a lot of pasta dishes that are served with a tomato sauce, and they're sometimes layered with mozzarella and ricotta cheese. Pizza is an Italian dish, but not good for a night out. It's too casual.

Go for a chicken parmesan with spaghetti on the side, maybe with a salad or soup. The Italians also make a lot of nice desserts too, if she likes sweet cheese, flakey dough, chocolate, and sweet cream.

You're making me miss having my own damn ship to deal with this sort of thing.

Something you ride on to get around very fast. Mine can go over any terrain, even water. The Billower Bike has 3 wheels, and she runs on smoke.
