Rock Stacking at the River / Action & Picture

[Smoker might have gone a bit on a bender. One of those "everything is wrong, let's just drink into oblivion" kinds. Justice isn't what it ought to be, pirates are turning into heroes and even Smoker isn't as good at hunting through people's hearts as he thought. Vergo was adjusting his newspapers and Smoker didn't even catch on. That was why he needed Tashigi, and she wasn't here. So here in Luceti, Smoker couldn't tell enemy from from friend anymore. At least not on a grand scale. Malnosso? Third Party? Too many factions, too many wildcards. He thought he could just ignore those factions and focus on what was directly at hand, but that's becoming less and less of an option. Option? What options?]

[So he's drinking.]

[And you know what Smoker does when he drinks? He stacks rocks.]

[Sure, that sounds benign enough, but that would be a serious underestimation of Smoker's love for going overboard.]

Now this is what you can do with non-defective rocks! [He is just so proud.]

[And Selphie goes down with all the air rushing out of her lungs in the process, her head landing against the ground and stars coming into her vision. She blinks them out as best she can before looking up at Ikki with a bewildered look.

As for the bottle, it went clean out of Selphie's hands and rolled several feet away.

Hostages are only useful if the other cares about them, Selphie. I think you overestimated my relationship with alcohol.

[Smirking and looking all smug as he pins her down. If she was someone else he could have been worried about her head hitting against the ground, but there weren't any rocks where she landed and he's sure she has gotten worse hits. So he doesn't worry at the moment and neither has plans of moving just yet, the little sister has to learn to not try to threat her older brother, she has better weapons to get him to obey after all.]

[Like the wolf? Selphie grins wickedly at Ikki before looking over at Hyoga. The wolf hasn't seen much of his master that day and is more than happy to remind the Saint of that fact.]

Hyoga, get Ikki!

[The wolf is indeed a good one. Hyoga doesn't need more encouragement to join the fray, jumping against Ikki and licking his face happily, forcing him to stop pining Selphie down to try to grab a hold of the happy animal. Ikki keeps his ground of being over her, though, even as he pets the wolf in an attempt to make it stop.]

Argh, go bother Smoker, he's the one who waltzed to drunkland!

[It takes still a couple of minutes for him to convince the animal to just shift targets and run towards Smoker. And Ikki gives his "sister" a glare.]

You're lucky I didn't blow up the animal in pieces. I could have done it.

[Except not because he loves that wolf despite everything. Why else would he still keep it?]

Oh please, you wouldn't do a thing to hurt Hyoga, or anyone else you live with.

[And she should totally have him with that point as she uses her weight to hopefully throw Ikki off balance enough for her to make a quick escape.]

[Smoker just whistles for Hyoga and pets him happily.]

[Sorry, were you two fighting? Carry on.]

Quit knocking over Justice Rock City! [Oh. Was he supposed to be the adult here? He doesn't feel like it.]

[HAVE A POUT.]

If you don't hurry up and get Ikki offa me, I'm gonna do more than knock it over.

[Instantly wraps Ikki in smoke.]

[Well played Selphie, well played indeed.]

[Because that's going to make Ikki not knock more rock towers, of course. Except it doesn't, and he just flares his Cosmo to knock them even as he's pulled away from Selphie.]

[What is Selphie going to do with these two?

She rolls her eyes at their antics before going back to sitting on the rock she was sitting.

Really boys. She feels like your mothers.]
