Question~ where might I be able to go to get some training in? I'd hate to fall rusty with my combustion, especially if someone unfriendly was to appear.

Depends on what you're thinking Angel. You could enlist and train with the others. I'd love to instate you as an officer but barring that you should be able to work your way up quickly enough. And if you don't feel like practicing with the idiot teenagers I'm sure I could work in some training with you personally.

Alright I'll have you enlist. You'll be under Tashigi's command as well and it might take some getting used to you but then you'll have fully well-rounded training. Know anything about sailing?

Square one it is. Welcome to the marines recruit. You don't have to wear the uniform on my ship but it's recommended that around civilians you wear something showing you're with the marines.

I mean unless you'd prefer to call it off since I'll be your commanding officer but I'd just as soon not if it's all the same to you.

Hn. Don't let personal feelings get in the way of something like that. If you rank up high enough they won't even bother telling you off for something that small. Your career might be tanked just for connections to me but if you don't care, then you should enlist.

No. Not unless you want to. I could use the help with paperwork so you'd here often in any case and Tashigi can toy with the formalities to make it look like nothing's wrong and I trust my own men. Even if they do bitch about it I don't give a fuck about marks on my record, got plenty as it is. Your choice if you want to clean your record spotless.

My record? You sound like I care what others think of me... Please- you give me too much credit once more to even think I'm worthy enough to be thought of like that. Devil's like me burn for our sins...

Anyways, it's your call. I can leave to a new room and give you peace of mind that everything will be fine and I'll still do paper work for you since I offered to help. However, talk or not, I know you're a disciplined man, and would I ever want to destroy or falter that? No.

I want you here. Stay. I'm not that disciplined. I tell the brass where they can put their orders on a rather frequent basis. And most of my close friends yell at me for that. Been working for years to conquer some of the punk in me that came from the streets of Loguetown but I've got a long way to go.

If you want separate quarters I'll get you them. You never had to stay with me and my protection is freely offered. No matter what. But don't try to protect my reputation. The White Hunter is not a name without its own infamy. I was stationed on Loguetown, not allowed to hunt real, strong pirates out of further attempts to break me in. I took off against orders to do what I knew I had to and also out of pride and a few other reasons. I've told the brass to go to hell to their faces. They can't think any worse of me without actually discharging me so I don't give a damn and neither should you.

If you wish to protect your own reputation I'll understand. I only meant keep it secret off this ship. No one tells me what to do especially on my own ship.

Tch. You deserve all the bliss you can get while you can angel. I'm just glad to have the chance to give you any at all. And it's like I don't have the room for one small girl and a stuffed bear.

However respect on your own ship is something you need and deserve. Reputation or not. How would it look for the one in charge to be with his recruit? On or off the ship...And I do give a damn because it would upsetting your...balance of life with me just being here. And what if I somehow...return to my world? Then all of this would of been for nothing but smoke in the wind...

My own reputation? Whores only have bad ones...Bath house girls are considered just that. I'm glad for the time we spent together and everything, too. But- maybe I should room on my own just- to keep the whispers down and so I can focus more on doing this recruit thing correctly.
