Water 7, Finding Fiyero
This place is actually as impressive as it looks at first glance. The architecture reminds me of Loguetown's buildings but the canals for traveling are certainly... unique. Miss my bike. I still haven't tried the mizu meat but Nataku and Allen I picked up some mizu candy while I was checking on the ship's repairs. I got extra forgetting Yachiru isn't here so if you want some come get it.

A note to all crew: I don't care how "cute" you think the yagara sea bulls are, we are NOT keeping one! No more damn pets!
I have to leave to go rescue an idiot. No one do anything stupid while I'm gone, Tashigi's in charge. Any final questions ask now. And try not to leave the island. Especially you Lavi. If you want to take the sea train it can wait until I get back.
Fukuro I need your help if you've got the spare time.

How did you become a soul reaper? I mean you told me about the toilet seat from a space station -- though I still don't get that but that's how you died. Not the soul reaper part.
no subject
Okay so. Every reaper has a certain number of souls they have to take. Kind of like a quota. It's different for every reaper, and they don't tell us how many we have to do. You don't find out until you take the last one, and that last one becomes your replacement. So. I filled someone's quota.
no subject
Luck of the draw. Interesting. Would you say that was unlucky of you?
no subject
I still can't decide. I wouldn't consider it lucky by any means. And the fact that I died at all was definitely unlucky. I was only eighteen.
no subject
Maybe you can even out some of the infinite luck in Straw-Hat but it's more likely to override yours.
Eighteen is unfortunately not an usual age to die at on the Grand Line. Like I said; too many kids playing a game despite life and death consequences.
no subject
It's not a usual age to die where I'm from.
no subject
Nice place there?
no subject
Yeah. I guess so. I like it here better, though.
no subject
Despite the chaos?
no subject
I never had friends like I do here. And when we're out at sea I get extended vacations from my job, which I wouldn't EVER get at home.
no subject
I hate forced vacations but I love the sea so I guess I can understand your point. Maybe.
Hn. You guys really value friendship that much huh? Why no friends in your own world then?
no subject
Well you must like your job. I don't like taking people's souls. And yeah, we do. I wasn't allowed to make friends with the living back home. So it was just the other reapers. They were good friends but we were never particularly close.
no subject
I do like my job. Justice. What's so bad about reaping souls?
I can see where that would get irritating. Most of my friends are marines but they get on my nerves quickly.
no subject
I don't want to watch people die every day. And in my department there are a lot of really messy deaths.
Not really irritating but. Lonely.
no subject
... Don't you ever try to I don't know... stop them?
Sounds unpleasant. Honestly I wouldn't mind a little more solitude. Even when I try to get off alone I wind up having to take someone with me. Your crew really never gets on your nerves?
no subject
Yeah. I did, when I first started. I tried every way I could think of to save them. But I couldn't. And I can't.
Usopp has a private room so if I want to be away from them I can always go there. And the ship is big enough that there's usually somewhere to be alone.
no subject
... That could drive a person to insanity rather quickly. How do you manage to hold up?
I see. That's kind of nice I guess. You don't have your own private room?
Although even with my own quarters, they're too dman loud. The room is 3/4ths sound-proofed with cork and they still manage to be obnoxious. But part of that might be that Tim ate holes in the door.
