This place is actually as impressive as it looks at first glance. The architecture reminds me of Loguetown's buildings but the canals for traveling are certainly... unique. ~~Miss my bike.~~ I still haven't tried the mizu meat but Nataku and Allen I picked up some mizu candy while I was checking on the ship's repairs. I got extra forgetting Yachiru isn't here so if you want some come get it.

A note to all crew: I don't care how "cute" you think the yagara sea bulls are, we are NOT keeping one! No more damn pets!

I have to leave to go rescue an idiot. No one do anything stupid while I'm gone, Tashigi's in charge. Any final questions ask now. And try not to leave the island. Especially you Lavi. If you want to take the sea train it can wait until I get back.

We've never met before. I'm Inspector Zenigata of ICPO. I got stranded here while chasing after a thief called Lupin III. Have you seen him? Red jacket, black sideburns, toothy grin, always up to no good and hits on anything female with a pulse.

Lupin III stole a rear admiral's ship awhile back. Since then I've lost his trail and I have doubts he remains in this world. What is ICPO?

International Criminal Police Organization, we're also known as INTERPOL. We're basically a worldwide police organization tracking down terrorists, drug traffickers, and in my case wanted criminals. I've been assigned to arrest Lupin and bring him back to France for his imprisonment.

I heard there's no ICPO here and that the marines were the type of government in charge here in the Grand Line.

What does Lupin have to do with France?

The marines are the police force of the World Government, not the government itself but your ICPO sounds a lot like what we do, yes. For any international crimes. Most countries can take care of their own drug problems, pirates are the biggest problem facing the world's waters.

Why do you ask?

Where I'm from France is actually a country. ICPO is stationed there and Lupin III is the supposed grandson of a famous French thief named Arsene Lupin, so I was assigned to bring him there to imprison him.

Ah, it sounds a lot like our ICPO. Except for the pirate part, where I'm from piracy has a completely different meaning.

I was thinking of joining the marines in order to find Lupin. However, you said you lost sight of him...?

If you're looking to find him again the best thing to do would be enlist. It's the quickest way to gain access to information and if he he shows up anywhere in this world, we'll be the first to know about it. ~~Except maybe Fujiko.~~ It isn't as though I lost him and he's just off hiding on some abandoned island, when I said I lost his trail I mean it isn't there. There is no trail to be had. Just as you wound up in this world by accident or whatever, people leave the same way. Only a very few get back by trying.

Some of the countries came looking for other countries, I don't know all of the details, I've never been outside of this world so the whole idea is foreign to me. But I can safely say Lupin III isn't here right now. Whether he'll come back or how he got here in the first place or how he left; that I have no idea.

Look you seem like you have your act together. You're a hunter of sorts, right? A friend of mine is in a similar position, looking for someone who may or may not be here. Difference is the one he's looking for wouldn't be doing any illegal, Lupin would be. Do what you want but if you don't have any means of getting back, you might as well do something worthwhile while you search.

You could enlist in the marines. There isn't a system to transfer ranks from other worlds into the equivalent here but if you can prove yourself you'll work up fast enough. Not like you want to join pirates any time soon I hope. And no offense, I'm sure you're a great detective but if you don't know much about sails, you'll want to learn here.

I've got no idea. ~~Fuj~~Someone told me that Lupin was at some place called Pineapple Island or something so I had to use a rickety old boat I found to get there, but the only thing there were pineapples, pineapples, angry chimps, and more pineapples. No Lupin.

That's usually the case. Well if you don't mind being around a bunch of too young kids, an idiot, a sword nerd, and an angel, you're welcome to enlist with my ship. Like I said, you'll have to go through some training about how to sail but you're likely to want it in any case.

If nothing else I can promise you'll never starve, even if you eat as much as Allen.

Understood. Kitchens are always open, I'll not have my men go hungry, that causes for distractions which cannot be afforded on the Grand Line but if you can't find a cook awake, you're on your own as far as preparing something goes.

I was trained in using handguns in ICPO and before that the Tokyo police squad. We did use wooden practice swords when we were practicing martial arts during my Judo and Karate days, but we were learning how to avoid and block them not wield them. I guess I'll need to learn how to use one to defend myself with.

Sounds fair. I'm not the best chef, but I can fix myself something edible with whatever I've got.

We have rifleman as well and everyone fights a little differently but that'll do fine. ~~Not sure what a handgun is though. Smaller than a rifle?~~

I sent Black Cage Hina to pick you up, she'll take you part way and another marine ship will take you to Water 7. My ship, the Lady Justice, is in for repairs right now so my men are staying in the city. There's still drills but for the most part it's a little more relaxed than usual. Don't get too used to it.
