[Voice] Jitte, Self-Defense, and Executions
Hello New Feathers and old, I'm Cap-- Err Smoker. [Wow Proof he has done this message way too many times, he momentarily forgot his own rank. Woops. Not that it even matters here.]
I teach jitte, kickboxing, and basic self-defense outside the barracks, and it's open to anyone, no matter how inexperienced. As you may have heard by now, every so often the Malnosso take people at random for drafts, and while non-combatants have other opportunities to help support, any self defense can help.
For others, I wanted to ask about other world's or country's history regarding executions. Are there any that changed the world, or have other people here seen them personally?
Thanks.

Tch. And what is that supposed to mean?
voice;
What's what supposed to mean?
voice;
That this is the kind of marine I am. And just what kind is that?
voice;
The kind that seems to care about right and wrong, not absolute justice. [ he has Opinions about absolute justice. and how it's bullshit. ]
voice;
[A small grunt. He has pirate cooties from having to agree.]
There's a phoenix you broke out once who'd be inclined to agree with you.
[........... Yeah this requires a lot of explanation. 1) Shanks that was in Luceti before 2) broke out Smoker's roommate, Phoenix Ikki because 3) Smoker was trying to get Ikki to stop binge drinking. Shanks disapproved of those methods and also the idea that anyone would try to make their friends drink less, probably. Also 4) Phoenix Ikki gets mad at Smoker's willingness to stick in the marines even under Akainu when it's so obvious Smoker disagrees on his idea of "justice." Not that any of these references will make sense to Shanks in context, but have a pointless bluff to see if Shanks remembers that or not.]
I follow True Justice, not Laws dressed up as Absolute Justice. [Mildly edgy tone even if they're agreeing. Perhaps extra edgy because they're agreeing. Feel free to ask what the fuck that even means, but he might be less forthcoming with a pirate emperor. Ah the price of fame.]
voice;
[ his mind immediately leaps to marco which means he's horribly confused. ]
I bet your superiors see you as a bit of a loose canon, don't they?
voice;
[And Smoker takes pride in that they do, but even if Shanks means it as a compliment, or merely a statement of fact, it's still unnerving to hear from a pirate. He doesn't want to hear those things from a pirate! It's like Sanji getting the women's adoration he wants from men. Ew!]
"Loose hound" I believe they call it. [Not something he'd normally own up to so readily, but then, he wouldn't normally be talking with a pirate emperor either. Besides, it seems like nearly every pirate or shichibukai's heard of that reputation and taken to calling him by it more than White Hunter lately anyway.]
voice;
for now, he's just gonna troll the living daylights out of smoker as best he can. ]
Oh? [ it's one of those words that sounds questioning and very interested at once. ] Not one for leashes are you?
voice;
Correct, I'm not a fan. That's why I don't wear ties or even shirts.
[This makes him either the easiest to troll ever, or the hardest.]
voice;
You sound like the kind of person I generally like. [ by that he means smoker sounds like he would make a very good pirate. ]
voice;
[He caught that Shanks.] I pay attention to all the rules and regulations, I just don't obey the stupid ones. [That probably comes out the same though.]
voice;

voice;
Not most.
[But what would you know. You're a pirate :| Cooties everywhere man.]
You don't see many pirates turning themselves in, do you? [Because then they'd die, but no seriously, he means he has to track pirates. Not they're cowards, but that they do at least try to evade laws. As part of being a pirate.]
voice;
[ a beat. ] Turning ourselves in isn't the same as not running. Every action has a consequence that's dealt with sooner or later. Most pirates run, but not all.
voice;
Tsk. If pirates were so eager to abide by societies' rules and consequences, they wouldn't be pirates.
voice;
[ and he just laughs at the second part ]
Oh, you still have so much to learn.
voice;
Don't even start.
voice;
voice;
However long of a way I still have to go, I'll do it.
voice;
voice;
[And lights up a pair of cigars to buy himself some time. He would honestly be more annoyed if one of the marines or brass had said it. Enough to punch them.]
Not from anyone.
