[Voice] Jitte, Self-Defense, and Executions

Hello New Feathers and old, I'm Cap-- Err Smoker. [Wow Proof he has done this message way too many times, he momentarily forgot his own rank. Woops. Not that it even matters here.]

I teach jitte, kickboxing, and basic self-defense outside the barracks, and it's open to anyone, no matter how inexperienced. As you may have heard by now, every so often the Malnosso take people at random for drafts, and while non-combatants have other opportunities to help support, any self defense can help.

For others, I wanted to ask about other world's or country's history regarding executions. Are there any that changed the world, or have other people here seen them personally?

Thanks.

Thanks!

It was. I can't complain about being able to stay at home, and take care of things there. But just a few months ago those deepground idiots showed up, and I got picked up for spying. That's what I was doing before waking up here.

So that's the kind of Marine you are...

[ he laughs at that question. ]

Oh, no! I wouldn't insult you like that again.

I don't think there's ever been a famous execution, in my world at least. Usually ninja die on the battlefield or kill themselves to keep information withheld. I've executed someone once if that counts for anything. [ Does it, Smoker???? Does she get bonus points for being one of the few that has beheaded someone??? Oh the joys of those that commit grievous offenses against Konoha... ]

Consciousness? No. Memories and their souls? Yes.

[Stalking this post for two reasons. 1) Ace's conversation with this guy's like a fountain of information he might not like to know more about the future. There's still a lot he doesn't understand, but the blanks are slowly getting filled, one small horrific detail at a time.

And 2) this voice plus the topic of execution, triggers something in Sabo's memory and he realizes he actually met him before. Albeit, in a very weird circumstance. This is the Marine guy from Loguetown Robin was wearing when he first met her! And since this is the real thing, he's cautious when he finally decides to speak.]

I don't think anything's gonna compare to the execution of the Pirate King.

Yes, I'm serious. [ said in a 'why wouldn't I be..?' kind of tone, yes, she's always serious! ]

And.. there is a variety of reasons, I suppose. I think it made it all feel more 'right' to them to have the formality.

Why do you want to hear stories about people dying? Isn't that something really sad to think about?

[It makes this pretty face look sad. Look how sad this cute girl is!]

It might of. But it's hard to tell for sure. I like to think everyone can be saved... but is it wrong if it risks other lives?

...Ummmm we don't really do those anymore really? I mean, people usually just get locked up. Ummm.

A small figure of an international criminal syndicate was exposed and interrogation attempts were made. When they were unsuccessful, they tried to find someone who would be able to kill someone either quickly or slowly and with precision. Seeing as how I'm Konoha's best marksperson and weaponry user, I was recommended.

Thanks, Smoker!

[ She's seriously considering this question. She's...actually heard a lot about politics, just because her father is on the council, but understanding them is another matter entirely. ]

...Well, breakin' out of the metalbender jails is pretty hard to do! I don't think anyone has done it recently? Like, while I've been alive! An' the most recent problem we had criminal-wise was someone who sorta took over Republic City but that didn't last too long, and we didn't lock him up 'cause he flat out disappeared I think so I'm not clear on what we would've done if we'd actually caught 'im, but I think probably we'd've locked him up!

Um, the Avatar can sorta deal with dangerous benders by just up an' taking their bending away, so that's how that is normally dealt with?

Oh? [Does he really want to ask?] ...Like what?

[voice//filtered] sorry, bro's gotta threadjack

[personal profile] hiken_ace 2012-10-01 06:57 am (UTC)(link)
[Ace throws up the best filter he can, and has to stop himself from yelling at Smoker.] Don't tell him anything about Marineford!

[So much for that.] Please! That's my brother, I don't want him to know yet. I need... I need to tell him when I'm ready.

Okay. Sorry to pull this, but mind if we take a rain check? I'm not in the mood to fight right now.

[No, that wasn't a jab at you making this post. What made you think that? >>]
